COMMUNICATION!COMMUNICATION!COMMUNICATION

Communication is definitely one of the key to effective success. As a photographer, myself has failed to communicate effectively when i started.I tend to assume what is needed by my clients and assume what my printer will do to completed the task rather than have a decent discussion.

I've learned in many ways during my years as photographer. For example, i did an assignment in 2003 without having a prior discussion. I tend to assume what my clients requirement for this particular assignment. I end up producing visual that is far from my clients requirements. It is frustrating because i already spent more than 2 days for it.That haven't included the amount of money that I've to spent.I was ask to re shoot this assignment or the client would've to hire other photographer. It is an embarrassment for a photographer. It could also damage a photographer reputation.

I'm really careful nowadays when it comes dealing with clients. I'll make sure some form of communication do happens before i decided to accept or execute any assignments. It is also important to communicate with your co-worker or other photographer that you met during your assignments. Sometimes, you might needed help from other to execute the same assignments. Another example is, you might needed help form another photographer to borrow some batteries. If you don't communicate before hand, do you think the photographer willing to help you. He might and he might not. Just a friendly advice to everybody, do communicate with your clients and others.

Again, communicate!communicate!communicate!

Photography- The Beginning

I've just started to blog. Wait for some issues to be discussed online.

Being a photographer has given me the opportunity to see and the ability to freeze the moment so that i would be able to see it once again.

Today, there's a lot of photographer or photographer wannabe. What ever it is, i would seriously encourage anyone who's in photography line to be all out. Photographers need direction and goals in life in order to succeed. It is important to set your mind in what do you actually wanted in life as a photographer. I also started 14 years ago on the same page. Clueless and not knowing where or what to do with my career.

Talking to more senior people in this field, really open up my mind towards the great possibilities of this field. Until today, i consider myself still learning and willing to share the knowledge that I've gather through out the years.

I've no intention to offended anybody with my writing. More towards sharing and encouraging others to do well in this line.

In order to be great, you must be great at communicating with others.
